The Mercedes-Benz S-Class recently received a midlife facelift. Having revealed the updated version of the limousine, the carmaker is now gearing up to unveil its flagship, the Maybach S-Class. The official teaser just dropped on their social media, giving us a sneak preview.
The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will feature a bespoke front grille. It has an illuminated frame with the ‘Maybach’ script, while the Mercedes roundel sits proudly on the bonnet. The preprofiled headlamps have star-shaped LED DRLs. The LED taillamps have a similar design. The Maybach badge on the bootlid is also backlit on the new version.
The upcoming Maybach S could be available with two engine options. The entry-level version is expected to be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, while the top-spec will feature a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 delivering upwards of 620 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.
