New Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992.2) spotted at Nurburgring

The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992.2) has been spotted at the Nurburgring. It was caught on camera near the track, probably heading to score some laps around the Green Hell.

We can see in the video that the test mule of the updated Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992.2) is not wearing any camouflage. It is looking pretty sporty in the full black paint scheme, including the stylish alloy wheels. We can also hear the car’s exhaust note, which sounds bassy at idle, and sweetens up as the revs climb.

There wouldn’t be a whole lot of changes in the 911 GT3 RS (992.2) facelift. Expect to see some revised aero work, especially at the front – redesigned front bumper and hood for more downforce and better cooling. Apart from that, the rear wing would be slightly altered, again, for improved aero. No changes to the engine and transmission are anticipated.

Reports say that the new 911 GT3 RS (992.2) would be a 2027 model, which means it could be officially revealed soon. And it’s understandable, as the test mule in the video looks production-ready.
