McLaren has teased its upcoming Le Mans hypercar by releasing a short video on its social media. The company has also announced that it will reveal the MCL-HY on May 4.
McLaren’s Le Mans hypercar will feature LED lighting with multiple LED units built in. The MCL-HY will also have a set of LED DRLs.
McLaren will use a V6 twin-turbo from Autotecnica Motori in the MCL-HY. The hypercar will be running on a Dallara chassis.
Chances are that, along with this Le Mans model, McLaren would also bring a track version called the MCL-HY GTR, which is likely to be developed in close collaboration between McLaren Racing and McLaren Automotive. The British car maker is expected to reveal this also on May 4.
