The Kwan appointment follows two earlier hires that established the same distribution-focused logic. In January, AXA XL named Rychling herself to her current broker relations role, having previously served as senior vice president of risk management at MGM Resorts International – a client-side background that brings direct experience of how large commercial buyers evaluate and use broker relationships. In February, AXA XL appointed Ainsley Keating as head of the East region for general industries, mid-market, Americas, deepening broker coverage across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
