If you’re looking for a new off-road SUV, the 2026 Ford Bronco already offers a ton of different options.
For the past five years it’s now been in production, Ford continues tweaking its chief rival to the Jeep Wrangler year-over-year, and 2026 is no exception. Now, the automaker announced another change to the 2026 lineup with the return of a Wildtrak…but it’s not exactly as it was before.
Instead of a bespoke trim level, Ford Motor Company is bringing a different approach to the Wildtrak this time around. Instead of expanding the current lineup beyond the existing seven trim options, the Wildtrak is now a package you can add to the 2026 Bronco Badlands. Essentially, it’s a package that bundles a bunch of other packages together: the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 (with a 10-speed automatic, of course), the Sasquatch Package and the Black Appearance Package.
So, if you spec the 2026 Ford Bronco Badlands with the Wildtrak package, you’re more or less getting a one-click option to the most capable version of the Bronco’s most trail-capable (non-Raptor) trim. The Sasquatch Package, as before, brings in 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT tires and Ford’s HOSS 3.0 suspension with Fox internal bypass shocks, while the Black Appearance Package (pretty self-explanatory) gets you the molded-in-color exterior bits with the Shadow Black-painted hardtop.
Other 2026 Ford Bronco lineup tweaks
The Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat color shown here, which looks pretty close to the launch year’s Cyber Orange hue, will be a late-availability option for the 2026 Bronco, after it also becomes available in the 2026 Mustang lineup. Ford further announced Monday that additional painted roof combinations will be available for the Outer Banks and Raptor.
Ford’s SecuriCode keyless entry keypad will also return an option, after the automaker dropped that particular option after the 2024 model year.
New Bronco buyers further get a couple complimentary benefits with their purchase. The Bronco Off-Roadeo is still available for new buyers to attend if they buy a 2024 or later model. Ford and onX, an outdoor digital navigation suite, have also partnered up to offer eligible owners a year of free access to the app.
